Midnight Dance

Midnight dance…
The rabbits prance
To and fro across the plain;
Coyote cry…
The bunnies fly
Off to hide in the desert terrain.

Morning mountain landscape
And slowly fading haze;
Chilly air…
The prancing hare
Fades into the morning
To rest a bit
‘Til it’s time to dance
The night away again!
