Jesus,
The ultimate extremist,
Radical beyond compare;
Never watered down His word…
Just gave it straight
To those who’d hear,
And as well to those
Who did not care,
And as well to you and me!
He spoke of truth that sets one free,
He spoke of sin,
He spoke of love;
He spoke of hell,
He spoke of hope…
He spoke!
He lived extremely on this earth;
He lived without though all was His.
He died extremely,
Rose that way too;
Nothing before or since comes near
To extreme demonstration
Of tremendous love,
To extreme humiliation
And lifting up
To the place of highest honor
All for perfect love…
Perfection from a perfect God…
