Dont let it go;
Quick, there’s a spark…
Don’t want it to grow
Into a blaze,
Into a flame;
Blow it out quick…
Oh, no, there it goes again!

All might and power
Less than God’s
Will not quench
The faithful heart
Of the servant loyal only to Him;
Though the enemy schemes
To put out the flames,
The servant’s willing heart still retains
The spark…
And rekindled by the Spirit,
He moves on in the Lord’s direction,
Moving on according to His plan,
Willing and able to do His work,
Heart prepared, ablaze for Him.
