Agape is elusive
When I’m feeling tired and worn,
When my temper is short
And I seem to comport
Myself in a manner so poor.
The challenge is much easier
When I’m rested and in a good mood,
But I’m put to the test
When I’m lacking in rest…
It’s there I must learn self-control.
