Abundant insincerity…
Idle words spoken insensitively,
Much too quickly,
At times too flippantly…
The insincerity abounds to me…
At times, admittedly,
Spews forth from me.

Flattery, flambouancy
Ingratitude, complacency,
Frivolity…
The quality
Matters not…or does it?

Oh, the amazing power of a word
Spoken without care;
Oh the need to guard our tongues
With humility and prayer!

The idle words for which we will
One day give account
Should cause our mouths to cease to be
A spewing tainted fount!
