Stormy weather…one can’t miss
The wind and its rage,
The sting of the rain,
The thundering sound…
There is no doubt
Of being in the midst of the storm.

Of course, there are days
Of lighter rain,
Breezy, but gentle as well;
A storm it may be,
But of little concern,
Its impact is so small.

Some of these storms
Move quickly through,
Other last much too long;
Some we see coming,
Leaving time to prepare,
Others catching us unaware;
Some miss us completely and move along,
But one thing is sure…Storms will come.
