Numbered among those who trusted You best

Impatience, flesh;
Many who followed close, but at times,
Fell by the wayside as their faith took flight.
Yet Your word speaks of them
And does not condemn,
But honors and approves
Of their lives and hearts…
And we look to days of old,
To those You speak of, long since gone,
And so many were so imperfect,
Yet they chose to trust in you;
So many stumbled in awful ways,
Yet your word forever tells
Of their faith.
