Broken
She hands a favorite toy to Dad,
Broken, in pieces, a complete mess;
With a sad expression, she looks and asks,
“Will you fix it, please?”
With fatherly love, he does his best
To repair and rebuild, to fix;
Unwilling to disappoint, he works
So hard with the damaged toy.
As I lay the broken parts of life
Before my loving Father,
I sadly ask if He can fix,
And He begins to repiece the mess.
With Fatherly love, He gives His best
With the broken rundown rubble;
He repairs and He rebuilds…
I find that He is able.
